Installation for Kunstverein Binningen, gARTen, 2010. A fence that bordered a private garden was turned by Florian Graf into a folly reminiscent of a welcoming gate. Folly, a term also used in landscape architecture to describe a construction without function, means ‘Verrücktheit’ in German. ‘Ver-rückt’ means both: crazy and displaced.
